Resurgence versus SAS 4
SAS: Zombie Assault 4 is the free 2D game. Zombie Assault: Resurgence is the paid 3D sequel. Both use Assault, Heavy, and Medic, and both offer 1–4 player online co-op. Where SAS 4 still wins the argument
It is free to start. The catalog, counted by the publisher as guns plus armor, is the larger number. PvP events exist there and are absent from Resurgence's store categories. Years of builds and guides sit behind it. Players who write 'SAS 4 is better' on the Resurgence board are usually talking about that pile of modes and the price.
Where Resurgence is the different product
The camera is 3D. The skill posts describe upgrades and specializations SAS 4's three classes do not use. Launch has no in-app shop, which is the opposite of SAS 4's model. Gun feel is the thing the kinder Steam reviews mention first.
Pick SAS 4 if you want a free, older, wider mode list. Pick Resurgence if you want the 3D sequel and will pay. No save-transfer feature is advertised in these records. Names are sorted out on is this SAS 5?.
