Release
Zombie Assault: Resurgence release date
Released. Zombie Assault: Resurgence came out on 28 Oct 2026 on Steam, iOS, and Android the same day. The 23 Oct 2024 announcement said 2025. The final date was named in Dev Diary 21 on 25 Sep 2026.
Status on 2 Nov 2026: 28 Oct 2026 has passed. The game is on sale, not on a coming-soon flag. Steam's public record says Oct 28, 2026, and the App Store version 1.1 carries the same day.

What the posts actually say about the wait
I am not going to invent an internal reason. Dev Diary 21 is the post that puts a date on the calendar after the 2025 window. The announcement post is the one that said 2025. Between those two sentences, the public record shows a later ship date. That is the whole claim.
The same week the game shipped, the player count page is the other half of the story: a new paid co-op game, and how many Steam players were actually online.
Console editions are absent from the store records checked on 2 Nov 2026. I will not add a PS5, Xbox, or Switch date.
