Privacy policy
Google Analytics 4, Microsoft Clarity recordings, Adsterra advertising and YouTube trailers are part of this guide. Everything except the trailer player loads on the first view; the banner tells you so and lets you reject the whole set for 180 days. This page names every company, cookie and local key involved, and the contact address for a privacy request is [email protected].
What loads on a first view
The page loads Google Analytics 4, Microsoft Clarity and two Adsterra units (Native Banner and Social Bar) immediately. It also loads a YouTube player only when you press play on a trailer. There is no gate that waits for an Accept click: a visitor with no stored choice is treated as granted, the banner appears as a notice, and Reject is the control that switches the optional scripts off.
| Name | Purpose | When it loads | Storage |
|---|---|---|---|
| zr_consent | Remembers Accept or Reject for this guide. | Written when you press Accept or Reject. | localStorage on this device, 180 days |
| zr_adbar_closed | Remembers that you hid the Adsterra Social Bar. | Written when you press Hide ad bar in the footer. | localStorage on this device, 180 days |
| Google Analytics 4 (_ga, _ga_6FGE7R2JJK) | Counts page views and basic traffic sources for the guide. | First view, before you choose anything. | First-party cookies, up to 2 years; event data kept up to 14 months |
| Microsoft Clarity (_clck, _clsk, CLID, MUID) | Heatmaps and session recordings for this site only. | First view, before you choose anything. | Cookies, up to 1 year; recordings kept 30 days |
| Adsterra Native Banner 32048917 and Social Bar 32048918 | Shows the in-page ad slot and the floating ad bar. | First view, before you choose anything. | Adsterra and bicea.org ad-delivery cookies; vendor retention |
| YouTube (youtube-nocookie.com) | Plays an official trailer after you press the play button. | Requested when you press play, not with the first page. | YouTube may set cookies once the film plays |
Default loading and how to withdraw
On a first visit the page loads the integrations by default and shows the banner; it stores a choice only when you press Accept or Reject. The banner has Accept and Reject. Accept keeps the record granted. Reject writes rejected, removes the Clarity and Adsterra loaders, tells Google Analytics to deny storage, and reloads once so the next page view starts with them off. The rejected record lasts 180 days, and Cookie settings in the footer reopens the banner so you can change it earlier. If your browser sends Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track, the page records rejected without waiting for a click.
- The banner is a notice and a withdrawal control, not a permission gate. The default state is loaded.
- Clearing this site's data in your browser deletes zr_consent and zr_adbar_closed; the next visit starts from the default again.
- Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track are read as a refusal, even when no banner has been answered.
Google Analytics 4
The guide uses Google Analytics 4 property 561647173 with Measurement ID G-6FGE7R2JJK. It counts page views, referral sources, approximate country, device type and events such as outbound clicks. GA4 stores _ga and _ga_6FGE7R2JJK in first-party cookies for up to two years and keeps event data for up to 14 months. Google does not receive the IP address in a form that identifies you through GA4. This measurement loads by default; the unanswered notice is not recorded as affirmative consent, and Reject sets analytics_storage to denied. You can also install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on at https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
Microsoft Clarity
Microsoft Clarity uses www.clarity.ms, scripts.clarity.ms and regional collection subdomains of clarity.ms (for example j.clarity.ms); project z78bdiix1b records heatmaps and session replays for this site only. Clarity stores _clck and _clsk, and Microsoft may also read CLID and MUID, to link a recording to a browser. Recordings are kept for 30 days. Password fields are masked by the product; do not type personal data into the guide. Recordings load by default; Reject removes the Clarity loader and sends a denied consent signal.
Adsterra advertising
Adsterra publisher 3403020 serves this site through website 6169037. The two units are Native Banner 32048917 and Social Bar 32048918. Adult advertising is switched off in the Adsterra panel. Adsterra and its delivery host bicea.org may set cookies or read device identifiers to cap frequency, measure a campaign and choose a creative. Ads load by default; Reject removes both unit scripts and the floating bar. You can opt out of personalized advertising at https://adssettings.google.com, https://optout.aboutads.info and https://www.youronlinechoices.com. Adsterra's own privacy notice is at https://adsterra.com/privacy-policy/.
YouTube trailer
Trailers use the youtube-nocookie.com embed. The player is requested when you press the play button on a trailer card, not with the first page. Playback can also request googlevideo.com and ytimg.com media hosts. Once it plays, YouTube may set VISITOR_INFO1_LIVE, YSC and PREF and receive your IP address and device information under Google's privacy policy. The legal basis is your consent to play that video; closing or not pressing play leaves the player unmade.
Legal basis, retention and your rights
- The implementation uses default-on analytics, recording and advertising with an opt-out. An unanswered banner is not affirmative consent. Accept or Reject stores your choice; Cookie settings lets you change it.
- Retention: zr_consent and zr_adbar_closed 180 days; GA4 cookies up to 2 years and event data up to 14 months; Clarity recordings 30 days; Adsterra and YouTube follow their own retention periods linked above.
- You can ask for access, correction or erasure, object to processing, and withdraw consent at any time with Cookie settings. Write to [email protected]. The consent record lives in your browser, not in a reader database.
- Under the CCPA/CPRA you can opt out of the sharing that personalized advertising may involve. Reject and Global Privacy Control are the site-level opt-out; the advertising links above are the network-level opt-out. This guide does not sell personal information for money.
Changes and contact
