Co-op trouble
Multiplayer not working
The public reports are symptoms, not error codes. Players describe a loading lock after a mission, lobby disconnects, a level-10 drone that does not move, and matchmaking that finds nobody. Ninja Kiwi has not posted a code list or a port list.
| Symptom | Where it was reported | What the thread suggests | Status |
|---|---|---|---|
| Stuck on a loading screen after a multiplayer mission | Steam thread 'Stuck on loading screen', echoed in reviews | The poster reports force-quitting; a reply reports the same symptom. The thread supplies no confirmed repair. | 1 community thread |
| Dropped from the lobby | Thread 'Game Connection Issues' | One reply blames the host connection; this is a proposed cause, not a diagnosis. | 1 community thread |
| Level 10 drone does not move | Thread 'Level 10 mission drone stuck', community reports | Leave and retry. | 1 community thread |
| Matchmaking finds nobody | Thread 'Matchmaking problem' | One reply describes the top-right join-code option and adding friends; replies disagree on the strictness of level filtering. | 1 community thread |
What not to invent
There is no port table to forward. Closing a firewall or editing a hosts file is not advice I found in these threads, and I will not add it. If the game offers a support link inside the client, that path is the studio's. The store page points at Ninja Kiwi for the account login the PC version requires.
How invites are supposed to work, when they work, is on co-op. How many people Steam can see is on player count.
Questions
Why is Zombie Assault: Resurgence stuck on a loading screen?
A Steam thread describes a lock after a multiplayer mission, cleared only by force-quitting. There is no official error code for it.
Why can't I find a match?
Players describe a level filter and a small population. Party codes are the workaround in that thread.
Which ports should I forward?
No official port list was posted as of 2 Nov 2026. This page will not invent one.
